\"Leadership.001\"<\/a>Leading people from where they are to where God wants them to be is difficult, and the task can be isolating and wearisome for many in ministry. \u00a0However, Jesus invites us to\u00a0come to him with the burden of leadership. \u00a0He says in Matthew 11:28-30,\u00a0\u201cCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. \u00a0Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. \u00a0For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0Awaken’s coaching is dedicated to helping you lead well and experience the easy yoke of following Jesus in ministry.<\/p>\n

YOUR MARRIAGE<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\"Marriage.001\"<\/a>A good marriage is a blessing, but it must be pursued. When things are going well with your spouse, you develop a strength and courage that is not dependent on how well your ministry is going. \u00a0When things aren’t going well at home, we become out of balance and prone to crash like a motorcycle with one bad wheel. \u00a0Solomon was wise to instruct us that a united two are better than one. \u00a0His instructions apply to our marriages as well. \u00a0He counsels us that,\u00a0“Two are better than one,\u00a0because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. \u00a0But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. \u00a0But how can one keep warm alone? \u00a0Though one may be overpowered,\u00a0two can defend themselves. \u00a0A cord of three strands is not quickly broken”<\/strong> (Eccl. 4:9-12). \u00a0<\/em>Therefore, it’s\u00a0critical to invest in your marriage. \u00a0It’s not enough that we\u00a0invest in our\u00a0ministry. \u00a0We need to also learn to keep investing in our relationship with our spouse. \u00a0Awaken’s coaching will help you grow deeper in your marriage.<\/p>\n
